We are looking for a qualified Senior Geologist.  The Senior Geologist will serve Krazan's environmental clients' needs utilizing relevant experience and skills to provide professional consulting services in planning, evaluating, directing and performing the project scope of work. This senior professional will also confer and cooperate with Environmental Division staff and mentor and direct the performance of junior staff.

• Performance of all environmental project due diligence tasks. 
• Subsurface soil and groundwater investigations. 
• Remedial system design and implementation. 
• Oversight, direction and review of junior staff activities. 
• Performance, supervision and coordination of field activities. Some travel will be required / typically one-day trips. 
• Responsibility for corrective action plans, work plans, risk assessments, health and safety plans, etc. 
• Regulatory interface, compliance and closure. 
• Report writing, review and segment quality control
  

• BS or MS degree in Geology.
• PG, CHG and CEG registrations desirable.
• Five to ten years environmental consulting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Sound project business management skills: Profitability, efficiency, financial reporting, tracking and forecasting, invoicing, proposal generation, understanding of contracts and agreements, etc.
• Computer skills, particularly MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
